Introduction
Sonnerupgaard Gods is located in the middle of Skjoldungernes Land National Park only 50 minutes from Copenhagen. The manor has existed since 1341. We host many different kinds of events at Sonnerupgaard. You can celebrate your wedding at our manor, host a meeting for your coworkers or spend a night in the middle of the woods in one of our glamping tents.
You will stay in one of our 66 different rooms. They are renovated with respect for the historic details in each room. We offer free parking and a charging station for your electric vehicle.

The manor is surrounded by nature. The area consists of a hilly landscape with forests, meadows, hills and wetlands. You will find a rich wildlife with many different animals such as deers and pheasants.
The manor consists of a designated cultural environment worthy of preservation. It’s part of Denmark’s largest landscape preserve and the home to a large oak tree designated as protected in 1933.

We are very proud to be located in the middle of a national park. Being placed here comes with a responsibility which we take very seriously.
Sonnerupgaard Gods is certified with the eco-label Green Key. This means we make an extra effort to protect the planet and we follow all the guidelines from Green Key.
We use our CO2-neutral straw-fired boiler to heat up the manor. We use straw from our own fields located nearby. Furthermore, we shop local when possible and the soap in all of the hotel rooms is both organic, vegan and produced locally.
